Occupational Role Questionnaire Urdu
The ORQ breaks down the experience of job pressure into six distinct categories of occupational stressors (originally based on research by McLean and refined by Osipow). Each category is measured by ten specific statements, allowing for a deep dive into how someone is feeling stressed.
Here are the six key areas the ORQ measures:
- Role Overload (RO): Feeling like you have too much work to do in too little time.
- Role Insufficiency (RI): The stress of feeling like you lack the necessary training or skills to perform your job well.
- Role Ambiguity (RA): Stress caused by unclear expectations about your duties, scope, or evaluation methods.
- Role Boundary (RB): Pressure resulting from conflicts between your job responsibilities and those of others, or competing demands from different managers.
- Responsibility (R): The intensity of stress directly related to your level of responsibility for the performance, welfare, or budget of people and projects.
- Physical Environment (PE): Stressors tied to the physical work setting (e.g., noise, crowding, poor lighting, or extreme physical demands).
