Emotional Empathy Scale

The scale developed by Ashraf (2004) will be used in the present research to identify emotionally empathic and non–empathic adolescents. The scale consists of 26 items in the form of 5 point Likert type scale, and is a self-report measure of the tendency to experience vicariously the (positive and negative) emotional experiences of others. The scale is intended for the use with adolescents and general adult population. The split half reliability of the scale was .83.
